Still Standing  - TRIALS OF INFLUENCE
THE LOCK-UP Cultural Centre, 90 Hunter St, Newcastle.
28 September 2010

Still Standing  - Trials of Influence is the product of a collaborative exchange between Geordie Malone, Min Mae and thirty brave bodies across three states. It is the dark twin of ‘Still Standing’, a production staged at The Street Theatre, Canberra in October 2010.
Still Standing  - Trials of Influence is a live art experiment . Utilising gesture, stillness, ‘dance’, music and nudity  and an historic jail setting ‘Trials of Influence’ presents the findings of a series of workshops conducted by Geordie and Min to excavate the primal response to the forces that ‘influence’ the course of human lives and shape us from a cellular level. The performance was given potent immediacy by the inclusion of volunteer performers recruited from the ‘Trials’.
